Why do you want to become a Green Passport holder?

I have always been very active in the Green Movement and I think that the Green Passport concept is a great way to continue to live up to my earth-conserving ideals while I'm abroad.

If you consider yourself to be an environmentally and socially responsible person while at home, please explain how so (may include activities or organizations with which you are affiliated):

As far as the environment I do my part in all the obvious ways like recycling, fluorescent lightbulbs, etc. and I am also a member of FLO (Fair, Local, and Organic foods) here at UNC. In high school I started the Green Club, whose goal is to spread awareness and build hype about being more environmentally conscious. I also keep up with Invisible Children, Nourish International, and Heifer International and am very interested in global human rights issues.
