UAE, Qatar to host world's first extreme sports parks

Yes, you read that correctly. The UAE and Qatar (home to API's Middle Eastern programs) will be hosting the world's first extreme sports parks! Interesting in and of itself, but why post this on Green Passport? Well, according to a recent article from arabianbusiness.com, the parks will are to be constructed and run according to top green building standards.

"To achieve the top green rating, the parks will use renewable and solar energy, and incorporate technologies for water conservation, waste to energy conversion, solar desalination and ecological wastewater treatment."
